Does each character/species read differently/independent of one another?
Are there any parts that were confusing or hard to follow?
How was the vocabulary? (The goal is simple language with only an occasional college level word.)
How was the pacing? (The goal is steady pacing throughout, with sudden intensification during action.)
How were the visuals? (My personal style is to slow time/flow slightly before action and really paint the room before any real motion takes place. You should never have to ask yourself where you’re at in the scene. It should play like a movie in your mind.)
What was your favorite part of the story and who was your favorite character?
My world is full of unique creatures and places and it can be a challenge to introduce them to new readers. Were there any points where I threw too much at you at one time?
